Dubia Roaches vs Discoid Roaches

witch 1 will breed the quickest? Blaptica Dubia Roaches,Discoid Roaches, Orange Headed Roaches? and how many do u need to get started breeding

I don't know about the others, but my dubia colony I started with 50 mixed size nymphs last July. I didn't start feeding off them for about 3-4 months but have been feeding off 40 odd nymphs including some adult males every week since then.

I have no idea how many are in there now, but its easily in the multiple hundreds, perhaps over 1000. I even turned off the UTH (was set to 95 on the glass floor over the UTH) to slow them down as I don't want to outgrow the 10 gal.

Both are very prolific.
For Roaches nothing breeds like Lobsters!
I just aded a new species (Maderea) to my collection these guys breed pretty fast as well.
