...besides dandelions? Mine won't eat anything that is not yellow...or purple and yellow. Can get a (nutricious)yellow menu?

Hybiscus, Mallow, Nasturtiums, to name the easiest. If your Uro refuses them, something's out of whack.

Thanks, tight situation with the flowers, working on a solution...I have been trying to grow but I have to keep buying more, it is still cold for flowers I guess.I want to give them more but how much should I give? What percentage of diet?It seems the amount I am giving is sparking appetite but how many should I give them? All they will eat? Is it going to turn into a "donut" thing?

It seems they're most fond of them in spring time, which only makes sense. In their natural environs, flowers are only available for a short time after they "wake up." Come truly hot weather, it's just seeds, leaves, berries & camel krap. We offer flowers in the evening after they've all had the regular greens from the morning & then they can have as many as they desire. Flowers are delicate & don't take up much gut space.

I'm actually growning pansies and nasturiums right now. The pansies are growing like crazy, but the nastursiums aren't growing at all, no blooms yet.

I give them each a pansy flower every other weekend and in the afternoon after they have eaten their greens. It's kinda like kids and desert ... they have to eat their veggies before they get a treat LOL

Where I live we don't really have dandelions and when we do its not for very long. has anyone had any luck freezing them?
