Piglet106 Aug 29, 2003 05:19 PM

My 2 1/2 month old beardie just regurgitated some undigested silkworms....what is this usually caused by and is there anything I should do or can do for the little guy....He ate like 9 silkies last night, could he have eaten too much....Any help would be appreciated....Here is a picture of him....

check your temps and be sure he eats at least 2 hours before lights out and no closer, they need to digest their food before bedtime. is he otherwise seemingly healthy? bright, alert, basking? has he eaten today? give him some extra water or some gatorade today to be sure he is well hydrated.

His basking temps are about 95-105....he always eats 2 hours before the lights go out....and yes, he is very healthy, alert, and doing all the right things....I have 4 other beardies, and only experienced regurge with mealworms.....

make sure his basking site stays between 105-115, any lower is no good. Well im just not sure, keep a close eye on him, keep him hydrated, what substrate is he on?

Check the temperatures if you haven't. I am not sure but he may have eaten to much. Did you get him from DKreptiles? I have a boy that looks just like him.
