Is there a online gentics calculator that works? All the ones I have found dont.
I was wondering if a male crimson was bred to a striped amel female what would be the outcome?
Thanks
Chris

this is the best one that I have found. Simple and easily understandable. I will email it to you as well just in case it gets deleted

Crimson is not genetic. Basically, your male is a hypo that was selectively bred, probably along the lines of a miami.
So your male is Hypo
your female is amel stripe
if neither is het for each other's traits then you'd get
all normals het for hypo, amel, stripe.
if your male was het for either amel, stripe or both, then you have a chance of getting those.
if your female was het hypo (the same form of hypo as your male), then you can get hypos.
I hope this helps

Ya thats what I came up with to. Now that makes them triple hets... normal, stripped and amel... I they 100% hets?
Thanks again
yes they would all be 100% het for those traits because each of those traits is homozygous in one of the parents.
Sean.

Without knowing which ones you have tried and are unhappy with, you could try www.geneticswizard.com.

Crimson ( Hypo A ) X Amel Stripe .. Crimsons are animals that came from Miami Phase animals.. To this day, they look like just Hypo's to me, unless of course you look at Don's Hypo Miami which kicks butt..
Easy enough if there are no matching het traits..
The off spring would be Classic het hypo, stripe and amel..
