so i was online just looking at stuff and found this guy giving away a desk(free) i went over and got it from him. i took a bunch of scraps of 2x4 and some plastic coated hardwear cloth and turned it into this. i know its not the best looking but its gonna work great for what i need. its 56x35in the desk top is melmine type materal so its easy clean up and seems to actually hold the heat really well. in the end this whole thing costs me $15.38. i put one of my younger female dragons in it to show size comparison

I think your dragons will love it. I made a PVC and screen structure for my dragon and he seemed to really do well when he could spend several hours per week or more outside.

I would paint everything with some sort of exterior, UV protected paint. Of course with as little money as you have wrapped up in the project you could probably just build another one when this one starts to break down.

Nice cage. I used to live in NY now live in Miami and Lizards LOVE that real sun.
Guy down the road has pair of Tegus in his yard all yr long he is from NJ.
He used UV basking bulbs in laege enclosure than but their colors are nice with real sun not to mention they went from tame to psychos lol who he can no longer hold but they are happier thats what counts.
