Still around? With the belly zipper?
Looks like that might be in the future for my biggest girl. I don't remember much about her experience other than the pictures of her little stitches and her zipper scar. I remember correctly that everything went excellent in the end and she was a real trooper.
I could use a retelling of that story to ease my mind that everything is easy and she'll get through just fine. Surgery on such a little thing seems so delicate.
(Our vet assured us it is more common in iguanas and she's done the surgery without problems before, but it is nice to have "known" a gecko who has been through it. I'm a little concerned because the vet wants to wait a bit and I feel like my girl is getting a little on the light side... on the other hand, I can be pretty insistent if I feel it is time.)
