Baby veiled help

Hi I just got a baby veiled and i'm wondering what is the best way to feed it

a)ke him out of his cage and put him in a smaller area with some crickets

b)have a cup of crickets in the cage with

the problem is that hes a baby and hes in a cage that could hold a adult. I just wanted some help thanks

You could try cup feeding, but not every cham will take to it.

I would try a see-through shallow dish. (like rubbermaid) Put the crickets in the dish, and put it at the bottom of the enclosure. The wider the dish, the better. You want him to be able to see the crickets moving around. Most young chams will dive into the middle of the plant (or some place they feel safe) SO, when you leave the room, he should venture out of his safe place and be able to spot the food.

Removing him will just stress him out, and he probably won't eat under stress.

When you put your hand in the cage does he apen his mouth to scare you? If he does once his mouth opens try to put a cricket in his mouth. Also a day afetr i got my veiled cham he would alrdy take crickets outts my hand. Hope I helped ya.
