how times should they poo...and is this size normal

mastino177 Aug 29, 2003 06:00 PM

I'm still having to give my beardie bathes so he will go to the bathroom....when he goes it is incredible the amount of poo he has in himself. I've started with collards but he doesn't like them right now...he eats a ton of crickets...and i have him off mealworms. I've had him for a week now...so what's up with this. the stuff he has in him seems brown and very little white...in know this sounds foolish...but i can't remember the term used. Everthing that i give is dusted. Is there something that i could give him?

Thanks

A ton of crickets equals a ton of poo...
How old/big is this dragon?
They eat a lot more crickets and other insects when they're young than when they're older.
The white part of the droppings are urates...what would be urine in mammals. It's normal.
The 3 dragons we have here will go two or three times a day, some days, only once a day every now and then. ( Usually when they're shedding and eating less. )

Hope this helps.
