Can you give us any more info on this new co-dom? Inquiring minds want to know.
Any chance of seeing a belly pic?

This line has been proven to be co-dom. A super has not yet been produced that I know of. Here are pics of an extraordinary male from this line belonging to Casey Lazik.
Thanks,
Debbie

Thanks for the info Debbie. I have seen some pics of Casey's male and some of his offspring. It seems like I remember Casey telling me he produced his male from a wild caught female bred to an Orange Ghost.
Good luck with the project! It looks like it's going to make some nice combos!

Actually, My Rich's boss is the one who produced the male and female that Casey Lazik bought from my sister (us basically). Rich's boss has the original odd female that looks somewhat like a desert ghost which he bred to an orange ghost male. Every year the offspring from her look the same.......the females look like each other and the males like each other and just like the parents when her offspring are bred together. When Casey bred them together he got some normal looking snakes and also some others from this line which looked like the parents out of the same clutch as he sent me pics of the clutch. They get more orange and gold as they get older. We have a smaller het female that gets brighter with each shed as well. WE ARE OPEN FOR IDEAS ON NAMING THIS MORPH!!!
Thanks for the interest!
Debbie
My Bad Debbie. When Casey said his male came from a WC female bred to a Orange Ghost male, I misunderstood and assumed (oops!)
that Casey was the one who bred them. Sorry about that.
Good luck with the project!

Louis, No problem! Here is the other het orange ghost female out of this line that we have.
Thanks, Debbie
Thanks for posting the pic Debbie! Those are some sweet lookin' snakes. I love what the gene did to your Lesser Pastel!
I would still love to see a belly pic of the co-dom if you have one and don't mind posting it. I guess I have some kind of kinky belly fetish.

Louis, Unfortuately we do not have a belly pic of our breeder het orange ghost female (mother to the Lesserpastel female) as she was lost when laying eggs. She had some internal bleeding and uterus was twisted around each of her eggs. Needless to say.......we were very sad. We have that other one from the line now that we will breed when she is older and of course the Lesserpastel female. The het's belly is normal looking pretty much.
Thanks, Debbie
Thanks for your reply Debbie. I'm sorry to hear you lost the mother. Good luck with the others. Keep us posted on your progress.

Mike, Richard was telling me that you got one of Casey's offspring. I hope we can prove out a super of this line! Keep us posted.
Thanks, Debbie
Hopefully not another white snake lol
He's got that look in his eye...

So when can we expect a clutch from morph x morph, I know there are a few people that have these in their collection so it has to be a matter of time and with the founding animal being a female, the time should be short I hope. It would be cool for it to have a super.

Various Ball Pythons, boas, dogs, cats, fish, an amel tiger retic female, a couple sulcatas and a few other odds and ends.
a BAD dog is MADE not bred, support the American Pit Bull Terrier as the greatest breed of dogs on Earth!!!!!
Time will tell! I'm hoping that Casey Lazik will produce one this year. I don't know what the owner of the original female was bred to this year but am going to find out.
Thanks, Debbie
Here is another example of this line (male).
Thanks, Debbie

Its a beautiful looking snake.. but since I can't spot subtle morphs if you whack me with their tails... would it be possible to get a picture of it beside a normal ball python?

wait a minute...I know i'm pretty small time and all, and am no scientist, but I'm pretty positive that you have to produce a super before you can declare it proven co-dom, now if its reproducable within the first generation, that is in fact proven dominant, when a super is produced, and reproducable to make sure its not a fluke (see super-pin) then it would be def. co-dom right?
You are absolutely right!! We have not produced a super yet as it is so new so I guess it would be considered a dominant at this time.
Thanks!
Debbie
