...while I am not a lizard person, I have to say that the Uroplatus ssp are, by far, the neatest four-legged herps I've ever seen.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting a colony of U. phantasticus at our local herp store, and took a few photos. Sadly, the combination of my not yet being used to my new camera and the little guys being difficult to photograph, left me with very few passable pics.

Still, I managed to snag three that looked *alright*, and thought you guys might appreciate them.


My favorite male of the group. He's looking rather washed out here. His true colours are dark black and grey.

Neither did I!

If ever I felt inclined to venture into lizards, I would be snagging a small group of these guys, hands down.
