*MoonGlow Litter* Born Today 4/12/08

decaromorphs Apr 12, 2008 11:23 AM

I was very happy today when I checked my Boa room. This female had her POS on Christmas morning which would be the 105 mark today. Nonetheless.... I'm pretty happy! The breeding was Snow x Orangasm Hypo het Snow......Enjoy!

Thanks for looking!

I'm sure the cages had alot to do with it =)

Thanks for the kind words Jeff! Once they start shedding, I'll post some fresh pics. Some of the Albinos & Sunglows are screaming with color. I can't wait to see how they turn out!

Thanks again!

Wow what an awesome litter-looks like a lot of snows/moonglows-congratulations put up more pics!!

aanata1 Apr 12, 2008 02:31 PM

Between the snows and moonglows? They seem so similar.

robert baker Apr 12, 2008 05:56 PM

First of all, congrats Ryan. Do not sell those babies until they shed a few times. They change so much! I held back some sunglows and an albino from my litters last year and they exploded with color. Trust me, do not sell them right away.

Here is the difference between a moonglow vs snow. Moonglow is on the bottom or left. Snow is on the top right.

Color, pattern, genes, and about $5000.

Great looking litter! I think I see at least one very orangasm looking albino in there along with the snows and moonglows.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone! I'm really looking forward to when they shed! That's when the true "goodies" will show..

Daniel, your right....There is a "special" looking Sunglow in the pile that I'm dying to see shed out!

On a whole.... I'm very happy with the outcome, but was hoping for some more MoonGlows (only produced one, mabye two, there's a questionable one). He / She is in the middle of the pile, the other white gems are Snows (but I'm not complaining.. =)

As far as telling the differences between MoonGlows and Snows.... MoonGlows will have more of a "bowtie" saddle appearance like hypos / salmons (A Hypo Snow) and the Snows will basically look like an all white Normal pattened boa....

Did I explain that so it made sense?

Thanks again!
