YES, Finally got this guy to breed.

shannon brown Apr 12, 2008 12:17 PM

For a couple years now he has been big and old enough to breed but has showed zero intrest and has been very scared of any other snake in his cage.Well, Last night he finally stepped up to the plate and got-r-done.
He was locked up hard for about a hour with my vanishing pattern ghost I produced in (04).

Sorry for the crapy pics but I sure didn't want to disturb these guys.

I love that tri-colored extreme. It will be very interesting to see what you get from that pairing. Is the ghost from extreme line as well?

Definately post pics of those hatchlings.

Good deal!,.....guess he got tired of just watching all the other snake's enjoying themselves, and finally decided to participate!.........those little magazine's he had stashed away in his hide were getting old!..LOL!

Well, yes I have many plans but most my females have been bred already so maybe double clutches or next year as usual.I just couldn't bank on him like I did last year so I used other males on most of what I had lined up for him.
Good news is that I will know when the clutches hatch if they are from him or the other males cause I used totally different morphs on purpose for this reason.

I have a killer tangerine albino (not het for anything) that will be ready in a month or so.I will be trying himon her as well.I have a hunch he is het anery and amel but who knows?
I also have a anery het hypo that will be ready in a month or so,so I should atleast prove out his genes.

I have a feeling that you will get another tricolor extreme, or two or three...looks like he's working overtime for lost time last year.

Good luck Shannon!

Thanks Ray, well if he proves out to be het anery I am sure that a ghost or two may be extreme as Terry's line seems to express its self in any and all phenotypes.
