mega ball O'eggs

Jeff Hardwick Apr 12, 2008 03:51 PM

This is a baseball sized clump of syspila eggs with fer sure 13, maybe 14 eggs in it. I've seen pales with 14 eggs, taylori with 11 but syspila with more than 7 is a new one.
Mom's OK by the way......
Jeff

Both these syspila are descended from the same stock and the brown saddled beastie is related to the orange hypo in the pics. There's some other colors and patterns in the same line and my photo album shows a couple other forms.
But for the purpose of this post:
The sire is the orange/white hypo and the dam is the brown saddled hypo. Not sure what the kids will look like but the pics will be posted eventually!

Nice. Thats a mega pile for sure for that one. That is usually what eggs look like when you find them out in nature though, isin't it? Big ball with crap all over them, you wonder how any of these things ever hatch without our help!
