MAINICHI DAILY NEWS (Tokyo, Japan) 07 April 08 Stolen rare albino turtle returned in food container
Nagoya: A rare albino reeve's turtle valued at 550,000 yen reappeared over the weekend stuffed inside a food container in front of the pet shop from where it was stolen last month, police said.
A worker at the Meito Suien Remix Meito pet store turned up for work on Sunday and found the turtle in a container wrapped in plastic.
Two men stole the turtle from a tank inside the store on March 29.
Police continue investigating the case.
