The original question I posed kind of digressed, so I will try to narrow it down a little. I see a lot of folks in here who are doing locality specific work with GBKs, yet I rarely see the fruits of their labor in the classifieds. Is this due to swapping and selling amongst each other, holding back and line breeding or just selling through other avenues. I have a "generic" pair of Gray bands and a sibling River Road pair and I am interested in going the locale-specific route. That being said I have notice a lack of availability and more wanted ads than you find in other species. A couple of the tongue-in-cheek answers gave a little insight, but I was just wondering if anyone has anything really concrete they see as a reason. Hopefully when I get back from Germany I can finally make a trip to West Texas and check out some of these areas...
Thanks
Bill
