Hello.
Just a simple, basic question. I would like to know who was the first to prove them in the U.S.? From some research, I think it was Pete, but I wanted to be sure.
Thanks.

Lars Brandle in Sweden is responsible for the morph. While Pete brought them over from Europe and bred them here, the first bred was actually a Super Jungle, he didn't "prove" them per-se.

What he thought were Jungles were Super Jungles. Most of them died after coming over from Sweden. A few did breed. Then a good friend Rick Stanulis proved that some of the "Normal" ones in ther litter that were cleaner and brighter turned out to be Jungles too He proved Jungles to be Codomiant. Rick has some of the oldest Jungles around. They are still breeding!!! They have to be 10-14 years old. He got me into Jungles a long time ago. Thats one snake I am obsessed with.
Thanks
