My female droped early two weeks ago and I lost a few of the Albinos and Sunglows and 2 of the Hypos were stills. So final count is
3 Sunglows
1 Albino
2 Dh Sunglows
6 Het Albinos

Heres is one of the survivors, he/she has not shed yet.

Sorry you lost some but you still have a dozen babies so is not all bad!!!!

Congrats on a good litter (any litter with viable babies is a good one)

Interesting that if you add up the visual morphs, they equal the number of survivors that do not visually express a morph gene. Possibly says something about the innate ability of the "normal appearing" babies to survive vs. the genetically altered babies.

PS, I have color morphs so this isn't a slam, just an observation about what is already known to be true.

The visual morphs were the ones that didnt make it. I lost 5 Albino/Sunglows and 2 Hypos, no normals. Last yr I had a small litter of Albino and Het from different parents and that was a early litter also and lost all Albinos and the Normal all lived. So I also observed that.
