Sunglows and Motleys oh my..... DUW

rainbowsrus Apr 15, 2008 12:11 AM

All three of my Sunglow males shed recently along with two of my Motleys so I got pics of them all....

First up is Apollo, a red line sunglow from Dave Lee. This guy was Daves holdback and is now mine. Thanks Dave!!!

For comparison, I put Apollo together with Chester. Chester was produced by Jason Robeck and IMO is the most intense of my yellow/orange sunglows. You can clearly see that Apollo has a much whiter background.

And this is Cyrus, brother to Chester, he was Jasons holdback and also is now mine. (although I think Chester may have colored up just a little bit more)

Not willing to be outdone, two of my Pastel Motleys also shed, this is Heath (very cool lighter color) who along with his bro Nestle, took on several females this year, outcomes to be determined but looks like at least a couple took!!

And this is Hershey, sister to Heath and Nestle, She continued to eat while her brothers played with the girls and is now bigger like she should be.

They're looking nice Dave. That red line one looks like he's got some nice side coloration that should come out as he grows.

and NO, you can't have one back!!!

The red line is cool since it has significantly less yellow, makes the red pop!!

Funny. I made my peace with letting them go.

You can't keep them all even when it's tempting. Not having a dimensional portal in which to stack extra cages seems to be limiting how big my collection can be

Gorgeous animals-absolutely amazing!
