I build a rack for snakes. I just thought I 'd share.

The wood is plywood. I am going to line the roof of the shelves with contact paper to keep the wood from getting humidity saturate and warping.

The wood only cost $ 16.87. It was one sheet of 96" X 48" sheet of plywood. Lowes cuts the wood if you buy the wood from them.

I had them cut the plywood into six 24" x 16" and two 24" x 48".

The six pieces became shelves. and the large two pieces are the sidings.

I plan to use flexwatt straight down the back (back side heating). I had some spare wood for the back side, so I didnt need to buy that piece from Lowes. The back side measures 16 x 48 inches.

Now that I have a rack, I will have more animals who can consume my feeders!

cheers!

Don't want to be the party pooper, but you're going to have a lot of troubles with the humidity of shed time with the porous-ness of the plywood. Should of spent the extra couple o' bucks, and done it right with melamine.

Waterproof it.. and you won't have a problem with the wood... Melamine is expensive in some places...
