I was at the pet store 3 days ago and helped unload the new reptiles and get cages ready and out i pulled a box that said Brazilian Rainbow Boas I asked steve (the reptile guy at the store) what does these look like he said youl see and ever since this is the type of boas i want. i say this because i was having trouble deciding. well anways i need some caresheets because i have been unable to find any that are worth looking for so i came to allyou people for help. So if you have any caresheets or anything that would help please help me out? also i have some specific questions:
1. What is the minimum size cage?
2. how fast do they grow?
3. I plan on breeding them how hard is it to sell the babys?
that is all the questions i have for now but sure to have more. thanks in advance.

Lizardboy,
1. Adult BRBs need a cage at least 36 inches long.
2. BRBs are around 18 inches at birth. At one year of age they are usually around 3 feet long. At two years of age they are around 4 to 5 feet long. Adults are usually 5.5 to 7.5 feet long. Females grow faster and larger than males.
3. Babies are easy to sell if you wholesale them. The more you ask for them the harder they are to sell.
Have a look at my website.

Lizardboy,
. The very easiest way to sell snakes is to wholesale ten lots (or more) to dealers. I enjoy keeping and breeding snakes and talking with people about snakes. I hate advertising and listing snakes for sale and answering endless questions about payment and shipping. I especially hate packing snakes up and shipping them. Rather than do all the unfun things I would rather just wholesale snakes and not spend time doing all the things that I do not enjoy about marketing snakes. I go to one or two big shows every year because I enjoy seeing different animals and talking to reptile people. While I am at these shows I sell many of my snakes. Sometimes I do not sell enough at shows and have to decide whether to wholesale the remainder or advertise and sell them one or two at a time. A good price for a BRB on the kingsnake.com classifieds this year seems to be around $125 plus shipping. You can find them for less at the shows. You can expect to pay more at reptile and pet shops.

My feelings exactly Jeff! I hate the 'selling' part and would rather wholesale the young or GIVE them away.
