Question on Tail loss and eating habits.......

philg Aug 29, 2003 08:16 PM

One of my males dropped his tail a couple weeks back due to my cat getting his paw in the top of his enclosure. He doesn't seem to be interested in crickets since the occurance, but will eat waxies. I've also noticed that I haven't seen any poop in his enclosure. Any ideas what could be wrong, or do they normally lose they're appetite after this happens??

how often do you feed waxies? did you treat the broken tail at all?

your head will collapse, but there's nothing in it, and you'll ask yourself, "where is my mind"

Yes, I've put neosporin on it a few times now. I also separated him from the rest of my leopards and put him on paper towels. I only give him 1 or 2 waxies every couple days since its all he seems to eat...
