is it ok to feed a leo a pinky mouse while it is gravid???

Females will usually not eat anyting when gravid, but if she will eat then it is fine. She may need another after she lays the eggs to fatten up.

I always heard that they eat like little pigs after they get preg. but stop a week or so before they lay.

I think you might be confusing them with other reptiles because since females geckos lay eggs so often they are basically gravid for several months and not eating wouldn't be healthy. Also many people have there geckos lay eggs without them even noticing anything different.
