Baby Food?

gregndrea Feb 08, 2003 02:10 AM

How do I get my geckos to accept baby food in their dish? Both of them will only eat it if I kind of dangle it and move it in front of their nose with a spoon (not hit them or anything, but just move it so it's like regular food). Will they ever just eat it out of their dishes or will I always have to move it around? Maybe a vibrating dish? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I dont feed my geckos baby food. What I have done in the past and still do every now and then, is offer my crickets baby food along with other food as well. That way whatever the cricket eats it goes into my gecko. You may want to think of this idea as well.
Good Luck

Why are you trying to feed babyfood to your Leo's?

Put some peach baby food in a plastic bottle cap and leave it in overnight. I take the bottle cap out the next morning and toss it out. You'll be surprised in the morning to see some of it gone. My White Lines get baby food everyday, the Leopards and Fat Tails get it once a week. Out of all the baby food I have offered my leopards, fat tails and White Lines, they like peach the best. I also gutload my cricks with chicken and apple baby food.

Good Luck,
