Outside pics...Jungle on the back porch

ilovemylizard Apr 16, 2008 06:50 PM

These are my first ever outside pictures in natural light...I've been itching for a month to bring some of the boas outside...just been too cold in March.

This little girl is Emma, she is a 2005 Jungle, who met a live mouse in the worst way when she was a baby...she is fearful of food and has much trouble shedding.

She has been with me for about three months now, and is slowly gaining some size. She has a lot of scarring on her back and sides, but is just the sweetest little boa...her nose turns down at the end and gives her the cutest expression

I am thrilled with this old weathered wood...it is the perfect backdrop for pictures...

This is a pic of Emma from January, to give some perspective of her size when she came to me...

but is it from a proven line of jungles?
Doesn't have the tail sort of speak, but has saddles like one?
Just curious, nice snake either way

Jungle produced by EBN and just had a really rough start... lol

She's pulling through and should be a champ in the near future.

Are you going to the Repticon this weekend?

Thanks Joe...I was trying to remember the name of who produced her...All my paperwork is buried from my move...

She is definitely an example of a lower expression Jungle...her colors are coming in a little more but are hard to see on her lower back...

She has been doing great here, Joe...I make a point to note when she is blue and keep her cage almost soaking untill she starts to shed...I've gotten three perfect sheds from her this way...Still have to help her pull out of it but the sheds come off in one piece...
