Hi guys,
This is sortuv a strange post, but here it goes...
Our reptile rescue got a "snake emergency" call yesterday. There is a reptile pet store in Carbon County, PA called Serpents Den that is going thru some serious issues and the animals are in big trouble. Steve, the store's owner, can't get to the store for a couple months due to extenuating circumstances. In the mean time, the power has been cut off and the snakes have no heat. I spoke to the landlord this morning and he said the store is out of business but there is nobody to take care of the snakes until Steve can return in a couple months. The landlord just wants to get the snakes out of the cold store into the hands of some people who can care for them until Steve gets back. If anyone knows Steve and would like to help him out, and help take care of his snakes temporarily until he can get back to them, please let me know. I can put you in contact with the landlord of the store, etc.
Moderators: Sorry if this post does not meet posting guidelines. It was an animal emergency, and we are just a nonprofit reptile rescue trying to get these snakes out of harm's way and find some of Steve's friends to help him out. If this was not an emergency where dozens (hundreds?) of snakes have no heat/water/care, I would not have posted like this. If you have any questions, please contact me at info@forgottenfriend.org
