My first clutch came this morning.

She only went 33 days this time. 7 eggs. No pics because my wife lost my camera, so I'm using this pic AGAIN. She was bred to her 7 month old Cinny son. I think it's cool that such a young male successfully fertilized 7 eggs. Only getting one more clutch this year of Mojaves. I think she probably has 6 in her, so it'll be a nice baker's dozen for the season. As they say, now the real wait begins.

Weird to call her 7 month old son "the father", but that's what he is. This is the best pic I have of him hatching 5/28 of last year. I really need to get some new pics.

I know he's only 7 months old, but he even looked like a stud fresh from the egg!!! We do need to see some updated pics of him. FIND THAT CAMERA!!

I also bred her other son to her a few times before I sold him, but I did use that male the most because of his back, obviously. But she's had 12 babies at this point, 4 Cinnies and 8 normals. None of the normals have had the look of anything that could even be considered a black back, and actually all looked similar. And out of the 4 Cinnies, he just had the best black back. But Cinnies are naturally black back patterned morphs anyway. His father had the stripe with the dots and high blushing. So I don't think of the female as being possibly co-dom anymore at all.

Pic of the one in the tub is the original male. The one on the counter is the other '07 male Cinny who was bred back to the mother a few times too. When I got that female, she was supposed to be a 100% het albino. So I wanted to use both males, just in case that het albino just happens to be in there somewhere.
