New Digital Scale

mfoux Apr 18, 2008 12:11 PM

DMong posted a message about the new digital scale he bought at Bed, Bath & Beyond about a week or two ago. I wanted to let everyone know I bought the same scale last week and it works very well. It's fast, easy to use and appears to be very accurate. The scale automatically zeros when you turn it on if you leave a bowl on top of it and switches between grams and pounds at the push of a button. Very cool stuff. Doug's post can be found a little further down on this forum.

Thanks Doug.

LOL!!,....hey, that's good to hear!, and I'm glad you're happy with it, I certainly am. I even use mine for seeing which rodents are actually bigger than the other when I can't quite tell, as most of the time I like to feed the female the one that is slightly bigger if given the choice.

best regards, ~Doug

I picked up a nice one with 1 gram accuracy and it was shipped for a total of $60. Essential to own if you are serious about your snakes!

Doug,
Are you going to Daytona this year? This will be my first year and I'm looking forward to meeting some of the people I've talked to and done business with here.

I can't say for sure, but it's very likely I'll be there.

You'll have a blast there, and you'll see so many cool snake's it will make your head spin!.....all the Ball Python's and hybrids, really use up a lot of space that could be used for interesting colubrids though, I was a little disappointed that there weren't a bigger selection of colubrids last year.....oh well. I still had a great time though!

I do hope there are a lot of colubrids this year, as that's my thing. Balls are cool, too. But give me kings and milks any day. I'm sure it'll be great, though. Hope to see you there.

Wish I had known about your scale prior to having purchased mine Doug... great find and hopefully MORE people actually follow through and take advantage of your insight -- it's a hell of a good deal!
