I am in a bit of a heat spell here. my tank temps are all up about 5 degrees (ie: 85 cold end)
it will not last, but for now what can I do? any thing? or just wait for this hot weather to go down.

you could put a fan in the area to cool it down some.

If you are using a flood bulb change it to a spot or add more venting to the cool end. If your house is just 85 then there's really nothing you can do, but they'll be OK.

yeh my house is 80 degrees right now. normally 70-75...
I put some water in their cages, and will just hold them out for longer mid afternoon,
im sure in the wild there are hot spells too.
it is going to drop back down normal temps here in 2 days with some rain, so thanks

I wouldn't worry about it..unless your dragons are all in the cool end trying to get into shady spots or gaping in the cool end.

The Exo Terra Daylight Spot is not a UVB bulb. It is designed to give heat and as LdyPayne mentioned all bulbs supply UVA. I would go get a Zoo Med Reptisun 10.0 long flourescent tube and fixture. It should be the length of their enclosure.

BDLvr I think your response was intended for 'leg twitch'
My dragons have full UVB exosure.

Oops. You're right. Thanks.
