Hey Bud, This one's for you!!!

mikebell Apr 18, 2008 01:29 PM

I'm just having a little good natured fun with my friend Bud.

Here's the story. I bought this 2006 Genetic Stripe male from Bud a year and a half ago. He has been breeding three large normal females and three albino females. Bud hatched two males with perfect unbroken stripes, they were almost identical. One was a little lighter colored than the other, so Bud decided to keep the "Pretty Boy". As it turns out the "Pretty Boy" doesn't like the girls, at least not yet. What makes the matter worse for Bud is the fact that his original het male decided last year he wouldn't breed anymore, and still won't breed this year either. I guess the moral of the story is to watch out for those "Pretty Boys".
At least his Lavender project is looking promising for this year.

Mike

Van,
Yeah, it is kind of fun rubbing it in. Mr. Pretty Boy Keeper is a good one too. I'll try to keep that one alive for a while.

You noticed that. I figured it would be good to breed her to a Genetic Stripe. I know one thing doesn't have anything to do with the other. I have a pair like that, they also have a striped het female sibling.
