Calling all Colling babies...........

rainbowsrus Apr 18, 2008 10:11 PM

Daddy is wanting to see how you all are doing. Please ask your care givers to take some pics and post them as a reply to this thread. Professional pics are not necessary, any quality is just fine, Daddy just wants to see how his babies are doing.

Thanks,

Here you go Dave - 2 of your babies, as my other two from you are in shed:

Here is Wilma Baby 2-f

Here is a closer pic of her just awesome neck saddles:

Here is the one that still bites – Wilma 6 (f) – but her beauty surpasses the biting:

I still feel Betty #2 may be the best, but the Wilma babies are coming on strong. The Savannah male is so dark already at such a young age - I can not wait to see how he continues to develop.

Dave,
...Two of your 2005 bullseye males are doing a bunch of breeding here recently. They are beautiful snakes and I am hoping to see more babies with big bullseyes this year.

These two males are both several inches over 5 feet long. They have some full circle bullseyes which they told me they did not want me to photograph.

Here are my two Nov '06 girls from Boo and Porky.

First up is Mauve. She is a BIG girl and getting very dark. She is just starting to go into shed now.

Here is her sister, Bisque. Not quite as large as Mauve, but still good sized.

And although she is not one of yours, Dave, I got some new pictures of Amethyst while I was at it.

Bisque and Mauve both have features that look alot like some of my Peruvians. Though the two subspecies are hard to tell apart visually I think I possibly see bigger scales, especially on Bisque. Could Aubrey count scale rows at mid body on both of them and could Dave do the same scale counts on both parents?
Pretty please?

Hey Dave!
Here are the pair I had at your "camp" several years ago! Doing well! The girl is in shed, but is still a pretty thing. (not so little anymore!) They both use large sterilite sweater boxes for
moist hides - for scale reference,

Glad to see you post, and very happy to see them again, they look great.

Kare and I were weather locked for shipping over the winter of 04/05. We had a nice string of emails and got into the "kids at camp" I'd email her from the kids and how they ate a big meal or the camp director gave them a damp hide etc. She'd email "them" back about their new rooms she was getting ready and how "Mommy" missed them. Was a lot of fun, one of the really fun parts of being a breeder, getting to meet some very nice people you'd never have met otherwise!!!

Again, glad to hear from you Kare, I was hoping to see some of my older babies.

Here ya go...

Boy these are the best snakes I've ever owned!

The first one is the stunning orange male SA-PO-07 from 8/6/05, and yes - his colors are accurate!

The second one is the female BU-M5-13 from 8/24/05. She is a bit more brown/red, but she is MASSIVE! She's between 4-5' and upwards of 5lbs. She saw me coming and submarined before I could snap the pic.

Great snakes!!!

You're the bastard that got Jasper... I almost bought him and then decided to get a hypo instead, then I realized the mistake I made and tried to get him later and he was gone... LOL. Glad to see he's in good hands, treat him well. And I did end up with one of his brothers... post below... through Mike Lockwood instead... but that Jasper is a stunner!!

I know I didn't get this guy from you, but Mike Lockwood, but he's one of Ann's, so he counts right? He's really one of my favorites and I got him to breed to my het hypo female (my first BRB). His cage is next to my bed, and he's actually out a lot and pretty social, so he's our little buddy Here's a pic of him... doing great... and his girlfriend Pele (my original het BRB female).
Sorry I didn't have time to crop them

Very nice looking baby and yeah, will always be one of mine (and Mike's). His mom is looking good and appears to be gravid from Phoenix with POS due soon, is opaque now.

All of them look great I like them all, but those are nice and red and should make some nice Hypos. Your gunna snag me to get one from you when I can afford it. But now you have gone and bred all the bright red ones to hypos...my fault should have gotten one last year.
