I THINK LOUIE MAY HAVE A BURN FROM AN ACCIDENT WITH HIS LIGHTS.HE JUST FINISHED SHEDDING AND HE HAS PINK SPOTS IN PLACES.I'M NOT SURE WHAT THEY ARE.BEFORE THE SHED THE SPOTS WERE BLACK.

Black spots are not a good sign, but pink sounds worse. Posting a pic can help. You can soak him in a bath that has Betadine in it mixed to look like weak tea. Do this for 15-20 min twice a day. Then cover the spots with a thin layer of Neosporin triple antibiotic ointment or cream. The best bet would be a trip to the vet. If it is a burn, the vet can prescribe a Silvadene ointment that controls fungus, bacteria, and reduces scarring from burns. If it is a burn, the area will probably heal with a scar and may be sensitive to heat and likely to burn again. Check your temps and light placement. Igs like to climb on high branches, but the temps on their basking spots should not exceed 95 degrees.
