My little mali's toes started twitching a while back, and as soon as I made a post about it they stopped. This morning though it started again and spread to his whole foot. Now his whole body is twitching and shaking. I can't take him to the vet until tomorrow and really don't know what to do! Can anyone help my poor mali?

I have no idea what might be wrong or how to help, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I hope that whatever it is you'll be able to pull the little guy through.

Sounds to be MBD.
Get the uro to the vet.
At this stage, and depending on the age of the uro, vet care is critical.
Keep us posted to the Vet's prognosis.
Good luck.

Toe twitching is one of the symptoms of MBD.

Putting a new UVB lamp solved the problem. Not even his toes are tapping. Everytime he was out he was under the light as if he knew it was what he needed. Once again he is a happy uro

Just as a piece of unsolicited advice... I would still take him in for a check-up with a reputable herp vet. That isn't normal behavior, even given short-term insufficient UVB/D3, and is a big red flag for MBD. MBD (metabolic bone disease), if left untreated, is fatal. I am not intending to sound alarmist, and I realize you do not know me since I have not been around the forum much in the last couple of years, but this would definitely be one of those "better safe than sorry" situations. The other thing to be aware of is if he got into any plants he shouldn't, I have heard of shaking being a reaction to eating mildly poisonous plants, but this is FAR less common of a cause than MBD.

I wish you and your lizard friend all the best!

I am in the process of moving right now, but when I get a free day I will def take him to the vet. The only flowers I ever give him are dandelions and I think I gave him 2 that day.

It goes without saying but... also make sure he is getting enough calcium- all the uvb in the world will do no good if calcium is low or the calcium to phosphorus ratio is out of whack (2:1 calcium to phosphorus is ideal for MOST species).
