As much as I love all the pics of captive pit on here this hands down is the best photo I have seen all year! I love northern pines and cant wait to photograph them in the wild.

I had the luxury of watching this thing crawl off into it's den. Awesome. How ya been since I saw ya in Philly? I gotta get to that cheese steak joint you went to with Dan.

I look pooped in this pic because just 15 minutes prior I chased down a huge black racer. Got my work out for the day...lol.

I had an argument on PARC a few years ago with a biologist. He had stated because all the cover was ruined by hobbyists, pine snakes have "disappeared" from the Pine Barrens.

I told him he was lazy and there is no way they simply disappeared because some cover was damaged. The snakes simply hide elsewhere where he cannot find them.

Apparently this was true! Great find, beautiful snake. Congrats.
