To go along with a pic of my female, here is a shot of my ltc male. He's very light in color, and this picture doesn't show it too well so I'm going to look for another to post. His head is an almost minty green, although he doesn't have much green on him elsewhere. Is there a 'light phase' of this species? Every other garter I've seen from this area is much darker in overall color. He's sired a few litters with normal females, but unfortunately none of the babies come out looking like him.
