How many of you guys that keep alterna keep hondurans? I have noticed that looking at various keepers and breeders websites that you guys keep hondurans also. I keep hondurans of the tangerine phase. I was just wondering if there is some kind of a color attraction there. Just wondering Matt

I can only speak for myself of course but I like Hondurans also. ORANGE has been my favorite color for over 40 years {Go Vols}!! so graybands and hondurans are a perfect fit for my color and kingsnake addiction. Also love those "carrot phase" leps. By the way where is the great looking alterna from in your post? Xmas is my guess. BA

Great color for west of Alpine. Have you seen the ones the Galvan's have collected? One in particular is outstanding. Thanks for posting the photo.

I know them very well. In fact Justin was there when I caught both that male and this female from the same cut.

I really like some of the Hondo color morphs and I have tried to keep them on occasion, but i either lose interest or they are prove to be too crazy for me..

It's funny that you posted this topic though, I was just at a herp show yesterday and came VERY close to buying a really nice pair of well started 07 bi-color albino's..

Is that the latest vanishing pattern Tangerine Alterna?

Thats gotta be the nicest Alpine snake Ive ever seen. Apparently you are acquainted with the Galvans. Would you please answer a few questions for me? I've heard that they keep their snakes in small boxes in tin roofed outbuilding. What do they do with their snakes, I never see any CB snakes offered by them. The most disturbing thing Ive heard is that they release any of their unwanted snakes 6 miles South of Alpine. Can you confirm or deny any of this?

First off the person feeding you that info is just probably jealous. They have to much respect to even release an animal that was caught not to mention putting a c/b out in the wild in the wrong spot. That is just ludacris to think that would happen with them. As for everything else I will tell you that take better care of their animals than a lot of others out there. As for the particulars on that stuff I will let them answer those if they want. Matt
