I think the answer is "no", but sometimes I'm wrong. Can my cornsnake have a roommate? I'm not looking for another snake, but some other reptile that he wouldn't want to eat, that wouldn't eat him, and who wouldn't stress each other out.

Could he live in a split land/water enclosure? Or would it be too moist? He's 3 years old, living in a 90-gallon vivarium, approximately 4' wide x 1.5' deep x 2' high. Lots of space. I was considering adding a "water" section with a baby red-ear turtle, or maybe some fish.

If it's not a good idea, then we won't do it. I don't want him eating his roommates. Although if he snitched the occasional fish, that wouldn't be too horrible.

Well the concerns about cohabitation are stress and health issues, primarily identifying sick/ill animal. If you are talking about all healthy(at start) animals, there is enough space, they are species that do not use the same hides as your corn, and your corn is the only snake in there then I think you would be avoiding all the problem areas. My suggestion if you were going to do this would be to add aquatics specifically fish. Turtles, newts, or frogs might work fine but depending on which one they may be able to harm the snake or they might try to cohabitate it's hide.

In General Cohabitation is a bad idea but it you structure it to avoid the downfalls they can be impressive, pa4rticularly if it is a growing vivarium.
