I think the answer is "no", but sometimes I'm wrong. Can my cornsnake have a roommate? I'm not looking for another snake, but some other reptile that he wouldn't want to eat, that wouldn't eat him, and who wouldn't stress each other out.
Could he live in a split land/water enclosure? Or would it be too moist? He's 3 years old, living in a 90-gallon vivarium, approximately 4' wide x 1.5' deep x 2' high. Lots of space. I was considering adding a "water" section with a baby red-ear turtle, or maybe some fish.
If it's not a good idea, then we won't do it. I don't want him eating his roommates.
Although if he snitched the occasional fish, that wouldn't be too horrible.
Thanks!
Leslie
