Gravid?

Stefaran Aug 30, 2003 12:24 AM

My female usually weighs around 60g. Over the course of about 10 days she is now 67g and has a really fat belly. I tried looking for eggs in here but i don't know if what I am seeing are eggs or just normal organs. Do you think she is gravid? Any info is appreciated because I am a novice at gecko breeding and have never seen a gravid female other that pics.

Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!!

has she been around a male recently? Usually they will begin to show eggs and fattening up between 7-10 days after becoming pregnant. I have a female that I believe might be gravid but her color goes on her belly also, and she is also around 60 grams. So I am unsure too lol. I guess time will tell. Good luck. If she is make sure you giv eher calcium with every feeding.

It could be due to the changing seasons, I know many of my leos have changed there eating habits in the past few weeks. Just keep an eye out for weight loss, and eggs also.
