there is heaps of snake pics on here, and they are absolutely stunning, but can anyone post pics of there caging setups? snake rooms etc etc. Be good to get an idea how all you guys do it

oh and by the way, found by luck today, a place called Tropicario in downtown helsinki, have no idea how did not know about it, but its a reptile zoo, 1000sqm or snakes, crocs, and turtles!!! i spend 3hrs there today just chatting with the boss. Even better he had a stock pile of frozen food, and i have gone from spending 4 euro on a frozen mouse from the pet store ( yes thats right, that much!!! now you see why i want to start a colony) to like 0.50cents each. Couldnt believe my luck, now the girlfriend is not happy, as i stocked myself up to high heaven. There was everything rocks, burms, retic, CRB, BRB, corns, rat, angolan, ball, amestyhine and then the hot ones, mambas, pit vipers and the list goes on!! i was in heaven

I do not have any great pictures of my set-up, as I need to convert an unfinished room in my basement into my snake room. Currently most all of my snakes are in my dining room. My quarantine area is now my bedroom.

4 Eruo for a frozen mouse - this just makes me want to get into the frozen feeder export business.

This is one of my cages (repti-racks) that has a divider in the middle. It is 2'x4'x15" divided in half. Each has a 35W Radiant heat panel and I use these for my yearling BRB's Each rock has a hide and each cool hide has water in it. With all the stuff, I have to clean a bit more regularly, but I think it helps the muscle tone to have stuff to climb on.

awesome pics, they look like they will have fun in there. How do you find those radiant heat panels? and are they expensive in the states? much better than heat mats or?

below is some pics of my setup, still have a bit to do, to finish the room, and get all the cages in, but it getting there.

bob in his cage

my stack of 4 big cages, have another 4 to fit in the room somewhere, gonna be a tight fit

the young ones until they grow a bit

and Sneaky Bastard in his water bowl

Radiant heat panels can be found in a lot of places. Reptile Basics has them cheapest (that I've found), and gave me a quantity discount too! They have an ad on KS heating/lighting classifieds. Other than that lots of reptile caging companies have them. This is the company I got my first Radiant Panels from and it has a little spiel on why they're good.
