peter54 Apr 22, 2008 02:12 AM

Hey guys. I haven't been in here before, I usually hang out in the Mountain kings forum. I got curious on this forum too since I also keep a few milksnakes, 7 at this time. this here pic shows my largest Sinaloan milksnake. He is 8 years old, 62 inches long and weighing in at 3 lbs.

That's a monster! Sinaloans are one of my favorites; gotta love all that bright red!

Yeah he's really big. Funny thing is that he really doesn't eat more than my other adult sinaloans do. I feed them one full grown mouse every 10 to 14 days. Females of course are fed a lot more when gravid and after, but the rest of the year that how I do it.

Awesome!!! Why does it have the creases its side? I have a adult snake I got from someone a while back that has the same creases... what do you think causes that? Being coiled up in a tub that's to small? I'm not diss'n on your milk at all. Just always wondered what casues that.

Well this male always curls up hard, why I don't know. He has two very large hides from cork bark and a lot of apple tree branches and plastic plants. The water bowl contains two gallons of water, so, I'm not sure why he does that.

Nice tangerine Hondo on your pic. It's a tangerine dream, right?

Very nice. He is huge. Any info on bloodline or who produced him?

Unfortunately, this is one of these snakes that have been passed on from one owner to another many times. I got hold of him when he was on his third year, he was perfect for my breeding group with his clear red and perfect rings. So, I don't know anything at all about his bloodline. I have another nice male sinaloan too, born in Denmark 2005 from a dutch bloodline. I haven't got any fresh pic's on him, but I'll try to fix some soon.
