I was inspired...

by the photo in the previous post that I thought I'd try a different trick.

It's always been a challenge for me to take a pic of my hognose snakes because they are so active. So I thought maybe if I put the snake in a pail and wait long enough until it calms down, I would be able to take a better pic.

This picture is taken just before he sheds.

I wish I could take better pictures! My camera is an automatic so it is hard to focus.

Nice looking hognose snakes, Colby.

I especially like this one. So I reprocessed this in Photoshop without your leave to correct the red tint and make it in focus.
I'll take it out after you view it. Let me know.

Great job. You made that pic look a lot better! That male was ugly out of the egg. He was black and grey. I think he will get better looking as he gets older.

I just got lucky. I was planning on producing albinos. The adults are kind of plain. I hope to make more striped hognose so I can breed them together and hopefully produce some neat snakes.
