Take a look at my newest hatchling... opinions on name

GeckoFire Aug 30, 2003 01:12 AM

Just thought I'd share a pic of my newest hatchling. unfortunately his clutchmate didn't make it through to the hatching stage.. it's egg dented a week back and never reinflated and started growing fuzz all over it.. I tried to save it but no luck... anyways.. i'm not sure what to name him... either screech or meanie.. lol.. two wacky names i know.. but when I put him in his new cage, he walked up to each humid hide, hissed at them and smacked his mouth into them.. silly if you ask me, so I figured either name would fit him right.. if neither of those, any suggestions?

Screech is a cuter name than Meanie.

I would call him Squiggles, but that’s just me. It’s strange that you're geckos get mad at his humid hides. As he grows, he should calm down a lot. Keep us posted.

Yea i was thinkin the same thing.... how strange for him to screech and smack his mouth into his hides.. lol.. none of my other babies have ever done it, but i guess... there's always a first for everything is the perfect explanation for that one.. i will definitely keep postin pics as he grows.. squiggles... another interesting name.. i'll take that in consideration as well

Beautiful baby I think Screech is a nice name too! What a strange guy though, is there a picture or pattern on the hide that may look like a predator to him? Like eyes or something?
