Weird Breeding

I have a female that has been breeding with my bumble bee for about 2 months now. She stopped breeding about seven days ago and the next day she was in her water bowl shedding. Normal shed? She has been sweelling up and staying on the cool side. No laying on side yet or anything and no interest in the male whatsoever. Good Sign??
