In my opinion this is a visual pet. I bring them to educational talks and on occasion bring a calm one out when I have guests, but it's not something your going to be watching TV with...
I keep my handling to a minimum.

I find it depends upon the animal. My sorong is the kind you can sit and watch t.v. with. In fact, she'll hang out with you resting her head on your chest while you do it. She's VERY tame and seems quite comfortable with being handled. There are others that I rarely take out though. They are aggressive and some get very stressed when you take them out.

My GTP handles the same as my Ball...they're both wubbies. It depends on the snake.

Thanks for the info, I want one real bad and was planning on getting one no matter what. I just wanted to get an Idea what I was getting into. My BP is docile as a stuffed rabbit
