Okay fed my 05 female the other day and she ate a xl rat and then one of the other snakes wouldnt eat so I gave it to her not thinking that it would make it so she can't even move as fast... Well she be okay? What do breeders do with all the feeders if some snakes decide they dont want rats?

Unless I have snake that is capable of taking several large prey items, then whatever is left is disposed of. I do not risk the snakes health by trying to get rid of extra prey items.

As far as your snake goes, it depends on whether it is a colombian, central american, Bcc, etc. What size is it? What girth? etc. You failed to fully describe the situation.

Hopefully, the worst that eill happen is the snake will regurgitate the food, and be okay. Hopefully.
Good luck,

Warren

shes about five foot, about seven pounds. I figured she could do it until I seen she was done. She's a albino cancun/ suriname columbian cross. Kinda looks sharp lol.
Well I use to keep 2 wildcats to dispose of the garbage
would a water monitor work??? I like monitors and as the snake collection grows I'd like to not waste food... WOuld that work???

water monitors are cool. perfect for someone with an extra jumbo every day or two. A lizard that gets longer than any of your boas is a silly pet for most people but they are awesome for the same reason

I had one back in the day. But I also bred rodents by tons. I had 2 wildcats but I sold them. They disposed of everything nicely including stuff from friends hunts. My snake collection should be big enough to get a monitor. One week 10 big girls decided not to eat( electrical problem) so I was throwing away jumbos. The female seems fine just chillin on a heat source. GOod thing I took the week off

I toss them out. Not because I don't want to over stuff one but to stop cross contamination.. Once a rat is in another snakes cage or touched by another snake it either gets eaten by that snake or goes in the trash.

You have to figure even thought your sure all of your snakes are healthy you never know what could be there that you don't know about or can't see.

I know it feels like a waste, but count it as that snakes meal it will have a chance to feed next feeding day.

All the snakes I own cept 2 males that are to small to look at a jumbo rat have been here a year. I don't think its crossing much. the reason the snake didnt eat was blue eye and I felt my albino who lives above her would do the job. I never cross food with quartine snakes.
