Formerly know as Pebbles, when I figured out palpating and was rechecking around, I found lil bumps in her tail, whoops, she's a he. Actually happy about that one as I wanted a stunner male from Wilma and this one is by far the most stunning of the entire litter!!!!

Yeah, #2 was/is a looker as well, The whole litter was great, Pebbles er Bam Bam was the one that stuck out from the rest! I have the distinct advantage of seeing them all at the same time.

My best "soup" pics ever. I had Bam Bam out and for kicks added Melanie (Betty holdback),

That was working so I added Moon (Savannah holdback) Then Mel got antsy so I "bowled" her and it worked, she curled up and never moved again.

Next one added was Dawn, a yearling Hypo from EBN

And of course Baroque had just shed so in he went

Since Hypo was represented, how about Anery? Added in Popeye

Last one added was Apricot, Baroque made his move to leave and I was getting nervous, seven snakes out at once and only me still up.

This last pic is the better one, hindsight I should have taken from overhead to help the focusing problems with such a large group

How do you get them to sit still like that? Some of mine will, but most hate to sit for the camera. I'm always baffled at how great your pics turn out! How do you do it?

rainbowsrus Apr 23, 2008 02:39 PM

That was just one of those timing things, it all worked out and I just kept adding to the group and they all just sat there. All the younger ones had been fed the day before. Most were simply picked up out of their tub an set on cage top w/out posing or otherwise disturbing them.

amazing the variety you have there, was expecting to see fluffy in the last picture though, though guess he would have taken up the whole screen!!

im too amazed that you can get them all to sit there, as i still cant manage 1 of them, for a colling style shot

by the way, these phots, are they taken on that white desk in your snake room? saw a big boa on it in some picture, and was wondering if that was the background for the rest of them.

Fantastic pictures of gorgeous snakes, as usual, Dave. Bam-Bam is AMAZING!!! Makes me feel good about my "baby spotting" because he was my pick of all of your '07 babies. Of course you held him back, lol.

The soup pictures are great as well. I don't think mine would sit still for long enough to attemps that.
