Newborn Eyes Shut??

tangopandaucf Apr 23, 2008 01:31 PM

I've been incubating my Leopard Gecko eggs for the last year or so as they come about, and this is the first time a hatchling has popped out severely skinny with no yolk sack attached and with odd looking eyes. I can't tell whether the eyes have no eyelids or whether they are lidded but stuck shut. This little guy is only a day old, and when he walks he seems to go in circles to the right. Here's the best picture I have of this little one.

Any advice is helpful!

Thanks Again

poor little guy,
those eyes are underdeveloped.
I have seen cases of people being able to care for underdeveloped geckos till they become adults. Good luck with it.
