Eastern incubating temps?

Weekendherper Apr 23, 2008 06:13 PM

My cb female has laid 7 good eggs and I've got them incubating at 79-81 degrees. This is my first eastern clutch and was wondering if anyone uses different temps?

I've just incubated mine at room temperature, probably a little bit cooler than your temps. But I would think either way they'll do fine. Kevin

Thanks for the info. After some more research it seems 74-78 is ideal, so I've dropped them to 78 degrees.

If you can get them lower, you should have bigger babies when hatched.
