Pics for geckomill...

JJsBoas Apr 23, 2008 11:07 PM

Hey everyone,

Here are some pics that I promised my good buddy I would post this week. Also, since I can't join in on the "new litter" fun until late May, which is when my first gal is supposed to drop, I thought I'd post some updated pics of some keepers from last year's surprise sunglow litter.

First and foremost is my "paradox" poss super sunglow from breeding a DH sunglow x DH sunglow.

Here's a pic of her at about a day or two old, hanging out with some of her albino and sunglow brothers and sisters:

And here's a pic from this week.

She still boggles my mind and is the one of the sweetest girls I have. In the pic below, you might be able to see her two different colored eyes: the left is albino pink and the right is black. Go figure?

Next is the "paradox" gal's brother, a sunglow male that is the ONLY one of the entire bunch that hisses up a storm everytime I clean his box.

I just love his color, compared to some of the other sunglows I kept from the litter (which were ALL of them except 1 who is now in a great home).

Next, are the other sunglows I kept.

Here's the other male:

And here's the only female sunglow (besides the "paradox" ) that was born in the litter:

Now here are a few poss. super hypos that I thought were interesting enough to keep. And, just to note, these are littermates to the sunglows above. It was quite the exciting litter for me last year

A male poss. super hypo:

And here's a female poss. super hypo with little reverse striped tail:

I don't think I'll have quite the luck I had last year, but I am eagerly awaiting a few litters that are important to me for some long-term projects I've had cooking.

Hope you all enjoyed the pics. Everyone's had some great litters thus far, and I hope we are all blessed with more good stuff in the upcoming months.

All the best,

Jay

Thanks for the compliments, Adrian. I don't have any "high-end" morphs such as motleys or jungles (YET!!! ) so these yearlings are definitely the "pride and joy" of my collection now and for years to come.

Thanks again,

Jay

That sunglow paradox is really nice, normally I'm not a fan of the paradox look, but it's so even and pretty on that one! The poss super (poss?! heh) male is stunning! Good luck on your upcoming litters.

Thanks for the update - that paradox is even cooler than i remember and coming along nicely. That was an awesome litter and i am proud to have a couple of your boas in my collection. Now please stop throwing a wrench in all of our punnet squares and have a litter by the books. Just kidding - its a good kind of headache

Thank you all for your kind words. I really love these keepers, and I can't wait to add a few more keepers from my litters this year to get some degree of out-crossed blood and add them to some of the long term projects I have planned out.

Thanks again, and good luck to everyone this season.

Jay
