Yay! Pictures Finally!

Well, since I have not taken the time to figure out how to post pics yet, here is the link for our Squishy. She (not sure of sex) is approximately 30" long tl and has doubled in size since I got her on June 6th of this year. Her current cage is 4' x 2' x 14" high and she has cypress mulch as her bedding. I just started plans for her 6' x 2.5' x 2' cage which should be done in the next month or so. Just a word of warning to anyone considering getting one of these awesome lizards, get the biggest cage you can NOW as they have the potential for positively explosive growth in their first year. Enjoy the pics and let me know what you all think.

after breakfast this morning. If you look closely, you'll see the little tail hanging out the mouth.

Pretty! How old is she/he? I'll second you on how fast they grow. The hatchling I got in June is already in his 6' x 3' cage.

Not really sure of age,but she was about 14-15" tl when I got her back on June 6th of this year so I'm guessing she was only a couple of months old at that time. The green coloration was just fading out. She just keeps getting bigger and is in an almost constant state of shed! The bonus is, she's a real confident, laid back lizard - a real "lap lizard"!

A beauty! It does look like a female with a lack of large jowels. However to be sure, feel approx 1/2" from the colocial openning towards the tail base. Underneath at this spot there will be a bump on each side, feels like a wart, or like a little BB underneath the skin. If they are absent its a girl. Another way it to watch for it going to the bathroom.......a male will have his hemipenis pop out, a female does not of course.

Good luck!
