A few quick shots...

cn013 Apr 24, 2008 01:37 AM

Just taking a few shots for later comparison... figured I'd share a few. The first is a male celaenops... Albuquerque, NM. Great little snakes. The second a juvenile male Lake County, FL animal. Going strong on pinks and a future locale match for my 'yellow' female. Last a lone male Port St. Lucie scarlet. Still getting him plump but he mows through scented pinks... one I'd like to pair up!

Thanks for lookin'
Chris

All 3 of thoseare nice Chris, but that New Mexican is bad to the bone.

Thanks man... I'm a sucker for small milks and yeah these guys have far surpassed my expectations! Credit goes to Phil Patton for the celaenops... simply feed and watch grow. No work at all for me to do!

Wow!,........those are gorgeous Chris!. What a huge difference in the thickness of the black rings on them, the cream/beige coloration in the one, and the loud vivid yellow in the other, both uniquely different and equally beautiful.

Killer celaenops too!,........they ALL look like they're doin' great. Good luck with the projects!

Really appreciate it Doug... and yeah the variance within a single population is probably what intrigues me the most w/ SK's. That lil' male is picking up color w/ each shed so I'm VERY curious to see how he turns out... have another male from Lake County that pretty much looks like a textbook scarlet if there is such a thing...

Can you say "got yellow". Wowza.

Did you pick up the celaenops from Phil?

Chris, I guess I see now why you want to breed that hypo locale first,WOW. Glad I am first on that list!!

Yup... the locale match up with these two might throw some real screaming animals... fingers crossed. Oh yeah and patience is the gig -- the male is still around 8 inches but is growing like a weed.
